The Master of Public Administration (MPA) is a prestigious professionally oriented management study for the management of public administration organizations and services provided to citizens. Public management differs from business by its emphasis on legality, transparency, equal access, public value, and accountability for the use of public resources. The program combines these principles with practical tools of people leadership, project management, digitalization, and communication with stakeholders.

The study is suitable for employees and managers of state administration, cities and municipalities, higher territorial units, public institutions and enterprises, as well as for people from the non-profit sector or suppliers cooperating with public administration. It will be used by professionals preparing projects and services, managing teams, implementing information systems or communicating with citizens, partners and elected representatives. It is also beneficial for professionals who are moving from the private sector and need to understand the specifics of the public environment.

Professional subjects deal with ethics in public administration, innovative approaches in the management of public organizations, modern trends in local government, corporate information systems and labor relations. International trade expands the context to include cross-border cooperation and the economic environment. Project management, negotiation, mediation and dispute resolution support the coordination of partners and the implementation of changes. Leadership, human resources, motivation, teams, coaching approach, GDPR and crisis communication complement the skills needed for the day-to-day management of a public organization.

Digitization of public administration is not just about converting a paper form into a screen. A quality digital service is based on the needs of the user, simplifies the process, works securely with data and has a clear owner and method of evaluation. It requires the cooperation of lawyers, IT specialists, professional departments, management and often external partners. MPA therefore develops the ability to connect technology with management and public value. Transparent communication is equally important so that the citizen understands the procedure, their rights and the reasons for the decision.
