The Doctor of Laws (LL.D.) is a prestigious follow-up professional course of study for LL.M. graduates and experienced professionals who want to assess legal issues in a broader strategic and organizational context. The graduate should be able to dissect a complex case, identify the legal and organizational issues involved, evaluate the risks of individual scenarios and defend the recommendation in front of various stakeholders. The knowledge can be used in setting up a compliance system, intellectual property protection, managing labour law changes, preventing disputes, creating internal rules or managing a legal and reputational crisis. A graduate of the LL.D. program critically evaluates the legal and regulatory context of complex organizational and managerial situations and connects knowledge from several areas of law. He/she is able to compare possible procedures, assess their risks and formulate evidence-based recommendations taking into account legality, ethics and strategic goals of the organization. In negotiations, mediation and dispute resolution, he/she is able to professionally argue, coordinate the positions of interested parties and defend the proposed solution. He/she processes independent applied work with respect for the limits of professional competence and the tasks of qualified legal professionals.

- The study begins every year in February and September, lasts 1 academic year (2 semesters), in full-time or distance (online) form.
