The Master of Public Administration (MPA) is a prestigious professionally oriented management study for the management of public administration organizations and services provided to citizens. The graduate should be able to name the need of a citizen or organization, translate it into a goal and project, determine responsibilities, risks and the method of evaluation. The knowledge can be used in the modernization of the office, the introduction of a digital service, the management of a development project, the setting of personnel processes, inter-municipal cooperation or crisis management. A graduate of the MPA program is familiar with the functioning of public administration and local government and understands the importance of legality, ethics, transparency and public value. He/she is able to apply managerial, labour, project and digital tools to improve processes and services provided to citizens. When leading people and cooperating with partners, he/she uses knowledge of leadership, motivation, negotiation, mediation, dispute resolution and crisis communication. He/she is able to explain decisions and proposed changes in a factual way, take into account the legitimate interests of different parties and turn them into a feasible project.

DESCRIPTION OF THE POSTGRADUATE STUDY PROGRAM

  • The study begins every year in February and September, lasts 1 academic year (2 semesters), in full-time or distance (online) form.
  • Complete study materials necessary for study are provided by the Institute.

  • The completion of the study is the defense of the student’s final thesis.
