The Master of Laws (LL.M.) is a prestigious professionally oriented study that connects legal topics with everyday decision-making in business, management and public administration. It helps to understand how legal rules affect employment relationships, contractual and property issues, business projects, data protection or dispute resolution. The goal is not to memorize isolated provisions, but to be able to recognize legal risk in time, formulate the question correctly and choose the appropriate procedure or professional consultation.

The program can be beneficial for lawyers, managers, entrepreneurs, human resources, compliance and administration workers, project managers and employees of state administration and local government. It can be used by people who prepare decisions, communicate with legal advisors, negotiate with partners or are responsible for internal rules. Professional studies broaden legal and managerial orientation, but in itself it does not replace the legally required qualification or authorization to practice a regulated legal profession.

The curriculum includes the basics of business law, civil, labor, tax and administrative law, social security law and intellectual property law. Personal data protection develops sensitivity to the legal and ethical handling of information. The graduate should be better versed in the legal context of managerial decisions, identify areas requiring professional assessment and clearly communicate legal risks to colleagues or management. Graduates of the

LL.M. programme are familiar with civil, labour, administrative, tax and social law, intellectual property law, personal data protection and the legal foundations of business. He/she is able to identify a legal problem, name basic risks, work with a legal text and prepare a substantive assignment for a legal professional. He/she uses his/her knowledge of negotiation, mediation and arbitration proceedings in the prevention and resolution of disputes in managerial, business or public practice. When applying the acquired knowledge, he/she respects the boundaries of his/her own professional role and the need for cooperation with qualified legal professionals.

DESCRIPTION OF THE POSTGRADUATE STUDY PROGRAM
