The Doctor of Public Administration (DPA) is a prestigious follow-up professional management study for experienced leaders of the public, self-government and non-profit sectors. It focuses on the strategic management of institutions that must simultaneously meet legal obligations, provide quality services, manage responsibly and respond to the changing needs of society. The program develops the ability to lead systemic change, connect political assignments with administrative implementation, and create public value in a measurable and transparent way.
It is intended for directors and senior managers of offices, cities, municipalities, public institutions and enterprises, leaders of development and digitization programs, representatives of non-profit organizations and consultants for the public sector. The curriculum combines public administration ethics, innovative management, modern trends in local government, information systems and labour relations. THE NAME OF THE DPA
The graduate should be able to analyze a problem across the institution, distinguish legal, organizational, technological and human obstacles, and propose a realistic model of change. The knowledge can be used in service reform, digital transformation, strategic planning of the territory, inter-institutional cooperation, crisis management or the development of work culture. The methodology of the thesis leads to the processing of a specific challenge using evidence, experience and feedback from stakeholders. DESCRIPTION OF THE POSTGRADUATE STUDY PROGRAM
- The study begins every year in February and September, lasts 1 academic year (2 semesters), in full-time or distance (online) form.
- Complete study materials necessary for study are provided by the Institute.

The Educational Institute Košice s.r.o. is an officially registered educational institution at the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic, authorized by law to carry out extracurricular educational activities, provide professional counseling and implement education in the field of social services.
