The Doctor of Science (DSc.) with a focus on psychology is a prestigious follow-up professional study for experienced professionals who want to use psychological knowledge to solve complex situations, lead services or develop practice. A graduate of the DSc. program critically analyzes complex psychosocial situations and connects the knowledge of psychology, psychiatry, cognitive science, psychotraumatology, addictions and occupational health protection. He/she is able to assess professional information, identify risks of inappropriate treatment and propose ethical and safe non-clinical support or organizational measures. He/she is prepared to lead interdisciplinary cooperation, create a trauma-sensitive environment and evaluate the effectiveness of psychohygiene, crisis support or care programs for workers. He/she processes the applied project without exceeding the competencies of regulated professions and with a clear definition of situations requiring specialized diagnostics or treatment.
