Graduation Ceremony in Warsaw – June 2021
On Sunday, June 27, 2021, at the National Music Theater “Roma” in Warsaw, a ceremony was held to award diplomas to graduates of postgraduate studies of the University as well as our graduates of the Institute: Doctor of Public Health (DPH), Master of Science – Psychotraumatology (MSc.), Master of Laws (LL.M.), Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) and Doctor of Laws (LL.D.).
“We are inexpressibly proud of our graduates and we wanted to express this pride with a graduation ceremony. Otylia Jędrzejczak, a successful woman and athlete, as well as this year’s graduate of our MPH studies, spoke on behalf of our graduates – said Dr.h.c. PhDr. Marcel Orenič, PhD., DBA, LL.D., DSc. – Director of the Educational Institute Košice. However, the graduation ceremony is also a holiday of the university and the Institute itself, so the program also included the presentation of medals.”
During the graduation ceremony, the Rector appointed new members of the Convention of the Consultative Council of the University and awarded medals for cooperation and merit.
Otylia Jędrzejczak – Olympic champion, world, European and Polish champion, student of MPH – also spoke on behalf of the graduates.
The dignified character of the ceremony was significantly emphasized by its distinguished guests.
The ceremony was led by Zygmuny Chajzer and was accompanied by the singing of the choir of the Warsaw Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, which performed, among others, the songs: Bogurodzica, Gaude Mater Polonia, and Gaudeamus Igitur.
At the end, there was a concert of the Tre voci group, a trio of tenors of the new generation, who performed works from the work of classical crossover.
We wish graduates, students and partners further success and, of course, pleasant holidays!
